Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Robert Walters. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and resolving disputes and discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Maintain and manage customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoicing.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue balances and take appropriate actions to secure payments.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that account statements are accurate and up-to-date.
Debt Collection:
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and payments to reduce the company's outstanding receivables.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Resolve queries and disputes regarding billing issues.
- Maintain clear communication with customers to foster positive relationships and ensure smooth payment processes.
Compliance & Record Keeping:
- Ensure all credit control activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and financial reporting standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with customers, including payment agreements, disputes, and resolutions.
Requirements:
- Advanced Excel skills
- SAP experience
- Own transportation
