Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead our Configuration Team in CDW UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving, developing, and supporting a team of skilled technicians in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Configuration Team to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Support the allocation of workload and ensure Co-ordinators are aware of priorities and urgent requirements.
  • Help with scheduling project work to ensure correct expectations are set and timescales are met.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Identify skills gaps and report them to the Config Supervisor and training team.
  • Work closely with other NDC Team leaders to ensure all required items and orders enter and exit the department efficiently.
  • Perform quality checking of configuration orders.
  • Develop and implement annual performance plans with technicians.

Requirements:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, preferably including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to ensure Health and Safety and housekeeping standards are maintained at the highest level.
  • Experience with assuring quality standards are met at all times.
  • Understanding of an organisational structure from a commercial perspective.
  • Experience as a configuration technician would be an advantage.
  • Passion for the IT industry, particularly providing pre-delivery configuration of customers' equipment.
  • Desire for continuous development and improvement of self, team, and Department.
