Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical designs for a wide range of projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and review electrical design documents, including basis of designs, technical specifications, procurement specifications, condition assessment reports, and survey reports.
  • Develop and review electrical design drawings and calculations.
  • Estimate work elements, including equipment and manhour costs.
  • Advise on energy consumption and utilization, identify delegate schemes, and recommend improvements to energy performance.
  • Design systems with calculations, equipment selection, and process operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on mechanical and electrical aspects.

Requirements:

  • Technical documentation experience, including specifications, control philosophies, and reports.
  • Collaborative design experience, including SLDs, cable diagrams, and network diagrams.
  • Engineering input experience, including 3D models, P&IDs, and general arrangements.
  • Technical presentation and discussion experience, including workshops, HAZOPs, and ALMs.
