Job Title: Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at The Forward Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the complex needs of clients
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and support
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and community groups on substance misuse and related issues
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical programs and services

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice
  • Postgraduate qualification in substance misuse or a related field
  • Proven experience working with individuals with substance misuse issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
