Job Summary

The Forward Trust Careers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at HMP Bronzefield. As a Substance Misuse Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with drug or alcohol addiction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions to support service users in their recovery journey
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of service users
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide education and support to service users and their families on addiction and recovery

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 1 year post-registration experience
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of substance misuse treatment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
