Skillframe Ltd is looking for a dependable and committed Logistics Coordinator and Transport Operator to become a part of our team, focusing on the distribution of high-quality Italian goods.
In this role, you will be essential to the everyday functions, including inventory management, ensuring prompt deliveries, and upholding warehouse standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Receive, assess, and arrange incoming deliveries of Italian culinary products.
- Keep a tidy and well-organized warehouse, complying with food safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts safely to transport and stack goods.
- Accurately prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Perform regular inventory audits and promptly report any inconsistencies.
Transport Operator Duties:
- Drive delivery vehicles safely to ensure timely product distribution.
- Strategically plan delivery routes for efficiency.
- Securely load and unload products.
- Deliver outstanding customer service during transportation.
- Maintain precise delivery documentation and conduct regular vehicle checks.
Required Qualifications:
- College education or equivalent experience.
- Valid, clean driving license.
- Experience in warehouse operations and delivery driving, ideally within the food sector.
- Forklift certification and practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to lift and handle heavy items.
Candidates must be able to lift items, pack products efficiently, and possess a valid Full UK Driving Licence. A current Forklift Licence is also required.
Proficiency in Italian is a plus.
Compensation is £13.00 per hour.
