Assured Safety Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join a leading manufacturing company based in Liverpool.
This is a key role within the site management team, responsible for leading the Health and Safety function across the manufacturing and distribution site.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of the HSE Management System and process improvements.
- Deliver effective reviews to achieve continually improving levels of quality performance.
- Support the integration of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Systems.
- Responsible for internal and external quality audit processes.
- Provide expertise and problem-solving capability through Health, Safety, and Environment Management System knowledge.
- Contribute to and implement health and safety strategies in line with group standards and health and safety management responsibilities and performance.
- Support the integration of the local Health and Safety Management System to achieve overall Site Accreditation to Standards.
- Actively contribute to the development of the Annual Site Business Plan.
- Lead and coordinate HSE objectives to deliver required results.
- Lead and coordinate continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve the overall performance of the site.
- Support the creation, development, and delivery of HSEQ projects and improvement plans.
- Coach colleagues on audits, behavioral safety, investigations, Risk Assessments, and PMS to improve effectiveness of these systems/processes.
- Support the development of colleagues throughout the operation in their specific HSEQ roles and responsibilities.
Candidates will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
£47,500-55,000 plus benefits.
