About the Role:
Abacus Careers is collaborating with a prominent global organization.

We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.

This position offers a chance to enhance your expertise while being part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all network and communication systems, including Cisco technologies.
- Collaborate closely with the Security team to provide technical support for security implementations and operations.
- Manage Windows Server environments both on-premises and in cloud settings.
- Ensure backup solutions are maintained across extensive multi-site IT infrastructures and cloud environments.
- Sustain operations across a blend of on-premises, hybrid, cloud, and multi-cloud infrastructures.
- Administer a complex network of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Deliver third-level support to high-profile clients and personnel.
- Resolve escalated incidents effectively.
- Proactively support, maintain, and monitor all networks, SDWAN, and IT infrastructure.
- Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
- Engage in project-based implementations and upgrades, particularly in cybersecurity systems.
- Manage LAN/WAN/SDWAN networking, specifically with Cisco.
- Oversee Hyper-V clusters.
- Administer Exchange Online and Office 365.
- Work with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Manage communication systems, including UCX and Teams.

About You - Essential Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in a senior infrastructure capacity.
- Proficient in supporting all network and communication systems, particularly Cisco infrastructure (CCNA/CCNP preferred).
- Experience in delivering and operating cybersecurity systems, including EDR, SIEM, patching, email security, web proxies, and firewalls.
- Skilled in Windows Server and Hyper-V on Dell EMC clusters.
- Familiarity with IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS platforms; Microsoft certifications in Cloud Engineering and Azure are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Server OS - Windows; Microsoft certification is a plus.
- Ability to proactively utilize security and network monitoring tools.
- Experience in working towards KPIs and SLAs.
- Excellent communication abilities.
