Position Overview:
Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Advisor to join our esteemed client, a leading consultancy in the water sector. This role is based in London and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to vital water management projects.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a BSc or MSc in a relevant field such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Environmental Management. Extensive experience in areas including Water Supply, Water Resource Assessments, Water Resource Planning, and Drought Management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Water Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the development and execution of Water Resource and Drought Management strategies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Evaluating and overseeing the effectiveness of water resource management initiatives.
  • Directing the implementation of drought response plans and assessing their outcomes.
  • Conducting audits and annual evaluations of strategic plans.
  • Aligning water resource planning with broader catchment and water network strategies.
  • Performing Water Supply Risk Assessments.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
