About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Positive Practice Worker at Heatherwood Court Hospital in Pontypridd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote positive behaviour support plans.
  • Act as a guide and advisor for staff, ensuring adherence to person-centred plans and promoting a focus on person-centred outcomes.
  • Collect and monitor outcome data on a daily basis to inform care planning and service development.
  • Work closely with service users and their families to co-produce care plans and promote person-centred care.
Requirements
  • Interest in and commitment to the practice of clinical psychology as an applied science or related discipline.
  • Awareness of current policy agendas relating to person-centred practice, values-based practice, and reducing restrictive interventions.
  • Previous experience in working with individuals with mental health and learning disabilities is desirable.
