Design and Develop Innovative CPU Architectures

We are seeking a highly skilled Microprocessor Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our hardware development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge CPU architectures that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new CPU architectures, including defining interfaces between hardware, firmware, and operating systems.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts, architects, and engineers to ensure client requirements are met and architectural excellence is achieved.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture features, including caches, MMU, SMP, coherency, and CPU pipelines.
  • Familiarize yourself with the ARM/RISC-V/MIPS architecture and the micro-architecture of current ARM/RISC-V CPU cores.
  • Model microprocessors using higher-level languages like C/C++ and develop a strong understanding of compiler and code optimization techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, including Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX), Scalable Vector Extension (SVE), Scalable Matrix Extension (SME), and Confidential Compute Architecture (CCA).

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, including C programming and knowledge of low-level assembler programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture features.
  • Familiarity with the ARM/RISC-V/MIPS architecture and the micro-architecture of current ARM/RISC-V CPU cores.
  • Experience with compiler and code optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, including AVX, SVE, SME, and CCA.
