About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Membership Experience Host at Everlast Gyms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every member and guest has an outstanding experience in our club.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maximise Member Experience: To create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages members to engage with our facilities and services.
  • Support Sales and Retention: To contribute to the sales and retention of memberships through excellent customer service, ensuring that members feel valued and supported.
  • Contribute to Club Operations: To assist with the cleaning and hygiene standards of the club, as well as being a competent key holder and covering shifts as required.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Club Initiatives: To have a good understanding of the membership software system and stay informed about current Fitness Challenges, Class descriptions, and gym floor focus.
  • Support the Fitness Manager: To assist the Fitness Manager with Gym Floor operations and ensure that members are aware of the products and services on offer.
  • Maintain High Standards: To ensure that the cleanliness of the facilities is always above expectation and take an active role in the upkeep of the club, with support from the team.
  • Drive Secondary Spend: To contribute to driving secondary spend KPI targets and ensure that members are aware of the benefits of our services.
  • Resolve Member Complaints: To competently deal with every member complaint and ensure that the relevant manager is made aware.
Requirements
  • Outgoing Personality: To possess an outgoing personality with a positive mindset and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Administrative Competence: To be competent with all administrative duties and able to use our membership software system.
  • Drive and Ambition: To be driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.
  • Flexibility: To be flexible and able to work shifts to suit the needs of the business, as well as take on additional duties where required to support team members.
  • Target Focus: To be target-focused and support the club with sales and retention towards achieving success for the business.
