Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Ridgeway Lodge in Dunstable. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Providing physical and emotional support to residents, including administering medication and assisting with daily living tasks
  • Collaborating with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and contributing to the overall success of the care team

Person Specification

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant who:

  • Has a S/NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)
  • Has experience working in a care setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of others
