Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small team supporting undergraduate medical students within Northumbria trust. This is an integral role providing support, timetabling, and coordination of clinical opportunities, assessments, and teaching for medical students. Excellent attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills are required.

Main Duties
  • To support and assist in the planning and implementation of the undergraduate and Pre-Registration education within the Trust.
  • To create and develop teaching timetables and plan for student assessments.
  • To provide administrative support to the Medical Education Manager.
  • To provide support to the Teaching and Research Fellows (TRFs) and Lecturer Practitioners (LPs) in their teaching activities.

Job Responsibilities
  • To support and assist in the planning and implementation of the undergraduate and Pre-Registration education within the Trust.
  • To create and develop teaching timetables and plan for student assessments.
  • To provide support to the Teaching and Research Fellows (TRFs) and Lecturer Practitioners (LPs) in their teaching activities.
Person Specification

Qualifications

  • NVQ level 3, RSA 3, City and Guilds certification or equivalent experience.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Excellent understanding of a wide range of office practices.
  • Experience of Minute taking and the preparation of minutes.
  • Experience in the planning, organisation, preparation, and implementation of large-scale activities e.g. conferences.
