Care Support Assistant, Independent Supported Living

Full details of the job:

  • Shift rota over 7 days, includes nights, early mornings, evenings and weekends

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and approachable person to support young people and adults with autism and/or neurodivergent individuals in their daily lives. As a Care Support Assistant, you will work independently and as part of a team to provide support and enable individuals to access a range of activities within the home and in the community.

You will need to be enthusiastic, able to use your own initiative, have a drive and resilience for what is often a demanding role; and you must be people-centred with good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive, trusting relationships with the adults we support.

Whilst we value experience, it is not essential for candidates to have previously worked in the health and social care sector, or with autistic individuals - all we ask is that you are hard-working, willing to learn and committed to helping those we support to live as safely and independently as possible, in a nurturing home environment.
