Job Title: Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (LC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at NHS Lothian. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality pharmacy services to patients with HIV and Gender services at the Chalmers Centre and the Western General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients with HIV and Gender services
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver high-quality outpatient pharmacy services
  • Contribute to service development and innovation within the clinical pharmacy service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote optimal outcomes from medicines and demonstrate NHS Lothian values
  • Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with colleagues and patients

Requirements:

  • Master of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Completed or equivalent competence as mapped to the post-registration pharmacist framework
