About the Role

We are seeking a talented Music Coach to join our team at iRock School of Music. As a Music Coach, you will be responsible for leading rock and pop band sessions for children across multiple schools in the Southampton area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging rock and pop band sessions to groups of children, promoting musical growth and confidence.
  • Teach multiple instruments, including drums, keyboard, guitar, and vocals, within a band setting.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and the community.
  • Facilitate student performances and guide them in achieving entry-level music qualifications.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including daily reporting and student certification.
  • Participate in summer camps and other school events.
Requirements
  • Musical proficiency in at least two instruments: drums, keyboard, guitar, or vocals.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a car for traveling between schools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Passion for music and ability to build positive relationships with children and adults.
  • Reliability and commitment to providing high-quality music education.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to foster relationships with students and adults.
