About the Role
Fugro is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our Metocean Measurements department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing complex marine projects, working with the latest oceanographic equipment, and collaborating with offshore, onshore, and client personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including survey operations, personnel management, and data processing.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring clear understanding of project objectives and progress.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Oceanography or a closely related field.
- Extensive experience in project management, preferably in the ocean science or related industries.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good English language skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent computer literacy, including working experience of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to occasionally work offshore for periods of 1-7 days for UK-based work and 1-2 weeks for overseas work.
