About the Role
Sunbelt Rentals Careers is seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to lead the Trakway business unit and drive strategic objectives. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling the Trakway Operations business, providing strategic guidance, vision, and direction to the Director of Trakway.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and control the Trakway Operations business, ensuring strategic objectives are met.
- Provide leadership and focus to the Director of Trakway, enabling the business to operate more collaboratively and efficiently.
- Support Service Centres to improve the customer experience and achieve operational efficiencies.
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Director to develop and deliver the growth plan for the Region.
- Provide strategic leadership and management to a profit-generating operational delivery team.
- Develop business relationships to increase Trackway's market share.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in a senior operational delivery role, with experience of delivering strategic aims and driving efficiencies and change.
- A customer-centric approach, with experience of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Strong commercial skills and business acumen, with excellent financial planning and budget management skills.
- Demonstrable experience of determining policy and procedures.
- Experience of delegation and organisational skills to ensure work is completed by self and team within required timeframes.
- Demonstrable experience of operating at managerial and strategic level.
- Evidence of completing work in line with project objectives.
- Strong business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the operational environment and external factors.
Desirable
- Demonstrable and extensive knowledge of Trakway, Barriers and Fencing, and Bridging industry covering operations.
- Understanding of the product range at SBR Trakway, including specification.
- A track record of challenging current thinking and embedding cultural and business change programmes.
- Experience of the Operational Experience programme (or similar) with a record of delivering continuous operational improvement.
