Job Summary

Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our community team. The successful candidate will work autonomously to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to the community of south Shropshire.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work independently to maintain a high standard of imaging.
  • Ensure patient care, dignity, and comfort at all times.
  • Alert the referrer or arrange for an urgent radiological report when necessary.
  • Ensure correct use of equipment and report any clinical incidents or faults.

Requirements
  • DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • HCPC registration.
  • 3 years post-graduation experience.
  • Previous experience of working single-handed and QA testing.
  • Knowledge of IRMER 17 regulations.
