Job SummaryShropshire Community Health NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our community team. The successful candidate will work autonomously to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to the community of south Shropshire.
Main Responsibilities- Work independently to maintain a high standard of imaging.
- Ensure patient care, dignity, and comfort at all times.
- Alert the referrer or arrange provision for an urgent radiological report where the image suggests an untoward or unexpected diagnosis.
- Be familiar with the principles of clinical governance and strive to ensure and maintain high-quality patient care.
- Ensure correct use of equipment and report all clinical incidents and faults to the team lead.

Requirements- DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.
- HCPC registration.
- 3 years post-graduation experience.
- Previous experience of working single-handed.
- Previous experience of QA testing.
- Skilled in plain film x-ray techniques and the use of CR, RIS, and PACS systems.
- Knowledge of IRMER 17 regulations.
- Ability to prioritize and organize without supervision.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
