Regulatory Affairs Associate - Marine Division

Join CV Library, a leading job search platform, in our exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs Associate to work with our clients' Marine division. This is a permanent role that offers a unique chance to work on low and zero-carbon ship projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Marine team in interpreting and complying with global hydrogen and marine standards, including engine and hydrogen fuel storage and delivery system approvals.
  2. Advise management on legislation and compliance project statuses on a regular basis.
  3. Develop new project legislation approval, such as spearheading underdeck storage concepts, new engines, and in-service inspection requirements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into the development process.
  5. Coordinate prototype certification testing to qualify new designs/systems.
  6. Ensure compliance to safety analysis, including DFMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, HAT, and SAT.
  7. Supply ongoing training to the engineering teams, acting as a resource and mentor for technical guidance.
  8. Work professionally and cooperatively in a cross-functional team environment, focusing on maximizing system safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field of study.
  2. Experience in advocacy and engagement with regulatory agencies is a plus.
  3. Ability to travel occasionally, up to 20% of the time.
  4. Computer and software systems skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  5. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
