Consilium Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Marine Legislation and Compliance Specialist to support our Marine team in the product certification process. This is a permanent role that requires strong expertise in interpreting and complying with global hydrogen and marine standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Marine team in the product certification process to ensure compliance with various global hydrogen and marine standards.
- Act as an interface for external parties, such as Classification Societies, to exchange testing and witnessing requirements and cascade requirements to the engineering and calibration teams.
- Oversee multiple complex schedules, set priorities for internal teams, and advise management of the legislation/compliance project statuses on a regular basis.
- Develop new project legislation approval and coordinate the efforts of the engineering and production departments to ensure programs are conducted in accordance with safety standard requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into the development process and coordinate prototype certification testing to qualify new designs/systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety analysis, including DFMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, HAT, and SAT, and supply ongoing training to the engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, business, or a related field of study.
- Experience in advocacy and engagement with regulatory agencies.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the overall working pattern annually.
- Computer and software systems skills applicable to the position, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
