Consilium Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Marine Legislation and Compliance Specialist to support our Marine team in the product certification process. The successful candidate will interpret and comply with global hydrogen and marine standards, ensuring our products meet the highest safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Marine team in the product certification process, ensuring compliance with global hydrogen and marine standards.
- Act as an interface for external parties, exchanging testing and witnessing requirements and cascading requirements to the engineering and calibration teams.
- Oversee multiple complex schedules, set priorities for internal teams, and advise Company management of the legislation/compliance project statuses regularly.
- Develop new project legislation approval and coordinate the efforts of the engineering and production departments to ensure programs are conducted in accordance with safety standard requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into the development process and coordinate prototype certification testing to qualify new designs/systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety analysis, including DFMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, HAT, and SAT, while supplying ongoing training to the engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, business, or a related field of study.
- Experience in advocacy and engagement with regulatory agencies.
- Ability to travel internationally to no more than 20% of the overall working pattern annually.
- Computer and software systems skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
