Role Overview
In the position of Automotive Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our client's Mechanics Team at their busy preparation facility. Your primary duties will encompass executing mechanical repairs, including oil changes, suspension part replacements, clutch repairs, and performing comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and inspections. The company is dedicated to upholding the high standards that their clientele expects, and your expertise will be vital in achieving this goal.

Our client is an independent pre-owned vehicle retailer with ambitions of evolving into an online dealership. Since its inception, the company has expanded significantly, increasing its inventory from 50 vehicles to over 300, showcasing its successful business model and committed workforce. The ongoing success of the organization is largely attributed to its personnel, who are essential to its remarkable growth trajectory.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general maintenance tasks, including clutches, timing belts, head gaskets, and other mechanical duties necessary for vehicle readiness.
- Inspect, diagnose, and test vehicles to ensure compliance with high standards.
- Collaborate effectively within the Mechanics Team to achieve operational objectives.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail in all responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Proficient diagnostic skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
