Job Description

NielsenIQ is seeking a Senior Commercial Executive to drive business growth through effective communication of our solutions and services. As a key member of our Small and Medium Business (SMB) growth strategy team, you will be responsible for generating revenue opportunities by understanding client business strategies and translating them into NielsenIQ services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve revenue and profit targets
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, renewing and upselling, answering client questions and queries, and demoing NielsenIQ products and solutions
  • Contribute to creating a vibrant and engaging culture built on high performance that drives results
  • Deliver best practice procedures and materials to ensure a set standard when talking to clients
  • Participate in team incentives and campaigns to increase visibility on SMB services and encourage a friendly competitive atmosphere
  • Take part in sales training and sharing culture to ensure sales best practices and communicate objections, client news, and successful strategies with the team
  • Input into actionable changes from the engage survey

  • Strong client-facing and communication and presenting skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Capable of working as part of a team within a fast-paced, challenging, and demanding environment while maintaining high standards
  • Experience with direct sales, sales development rep, or previous AM/AD and/or experience with SMB businesses up to £50m turnover
  • Experience in FMCG sector or equivalent with appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products, services, and data
  • Understanding of data, insight, category marketing – either agency or client background
  • Understanding of the issues and needs facing FMCG manufacturers and retailers
