We are seeking an experienced Estates Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Baker Harding Limited, a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of super low loss amorphous transformer technology.
The Role
This is a new role working with our Estates Manager to assist with ensuring that the service, maintenance, and upkeep of our facilities are carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to our operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the Estates Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and strategies.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide excellent customer service to our staff and visitors, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in estates maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
