Senior Designer - Candy Crush Soda Saga

At King, we're passionate about creating engaging game experiences that delight our players. As a Senior Designer on our Candy Crush Soda Saga team, you'll play a key role in shaping the game's events and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and player satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with UX Designers, UI Designers, User Researchers, Developers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and business units to create high-quality deliverables that enhance the game experience.
  • Design and implement events that are engaging, challenging, and rewarding for players.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure a cohesive and consistent design language across the game.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improve the player experience.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the game's mechanics, player behavior, and market trends.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in game design, including live ops experience.
  • Strong understanding of casual gameplay mechanics and player psychology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed design decisions that drive business results.
  • Passion for creating engaging and inclusive game experiences that appeal to a wide range of players.
