Position Summary
We are seeking a Lifting Operations Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the creation and enhancement of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) training programs. These programs will encompass essential courses such as banksman, slinging, and rigging, necessitating a strong background in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement effective and economical training and assessment solutions that comply with industry regulations and standards.
2. Act as a resource and subject matter expert for the evaluation and development of both existing and new training materials.
3. Collaborate with the Survival department to deliver HSEQ components of current training offerings.
4. Engage with clients to discuss potential new training courses as needed.
5. Uphold the core values and culture of the organization.
6. Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, representing the company at relevant industry events.
7. Provide analytical reports and insights to Senior Management regarding training outcomes.
8. Mentor fellow instructors within the organization to enhance team proficiency and facilitate skill development in new areas.
9. Participate in the review and audit of the company’s Quality Management Systems and Safety Management System (SMS).
10. Support the professional development of other instructors through Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
11. Assist in the recruitment and selection of personnel for the delivery of HSEQ training programs.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in lifting and rigging operations.
- NEBOSH certification.
- A1 Assessor qualification or equivalent, or Train the Trainer certification (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of training methodologies and HSEQ course delivery.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities demonstrated through successful initiatives.
- Experience in a senior HSEQ role.
- Familiarity with current training courses, including BOSIET and MIST, that incorporate HSEQ criteria.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A resilient and robust character, capable of presenting viewpoints objectively and constructively.
- Exceptional organizational and planning abilities, with a systematic and analytical approach to tasks.
