Job Summary:
The Production Chemist / Technical Specialist is a diverse and interesting role providing technical support to colleagues, customers, and suppliers. This position involves taking projects from laboratory development work through to machine trials, prioritizing and progressing day-to-day laboratory work to deliver a first-class service to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling the technical lead role in the New Product Introduction process
- Providing operational support to the Paper business, including mill chemistry, troubleshooting, and maintenance of documentation
- Communicating with external testing houses
- Providing technical support to colleagues, customers, and suppliers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/HND qualified in a scientific discipline
- A Level in Chemistry and Maths
- Previous experience working in a laboratory/operational environment
