Job Title: Community Care Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Care Officer to join our team at East Ayrshire Council. As a Community Care Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting their independence within their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support vulnerable people with personal and social care, encouraging independence and enabling them to remain in their own homes.
- Work in partnership with the Health & Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan to promote the key objectives.
- Conduct Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support services.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
