Join Our Team as an Engineering Project Coordinator

We are seeking an Engineering Project Coordinator to oversee critical operations within our sewage treatment facilities. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in hands-on mechanical and electrical project environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute a diverse range of mechanical, electrical, civil, control, and instrumentation projects with an annual budget of up to £5 million.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams and contractors to define, specify, and deliver cost-effective and high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Demonstrate quick thinking and decisive action to develop immediate solutions for maintenance challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, adhering to the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) for all projects.
  • Supervise the commissioning process and facilitate the handover of projects to operational teams.
  • Confirm that all necessary training is completed and that documentation, including test certificates and as-built drawings, is properly handed over.
  • Work primarily in the Thames Valley and surrounding counties.
  • Commit to a standard workweek of 36 hours, Monday to Friday, on-site.
Qualifications:
  • Possess an HNC/HND or a degree in Engineering, or demonstrate substantial hands-on experience in the Mechanical and Electrical sectors.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to on-site operations, ensuring optimal performance levels.
  • Be technically proficient and commercially aware, with a solid engineering background.
  • Ability to analyze, define, and propose engineering solutions for modernization and refurbishment projects.

  • Competitive salary range of £41,000 - £55,000 per annum.
