Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineer

Brio Digital | Certified B Corp is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineer to spearhead the development of sophisticated web applications and leverage AWS to enhance performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy React applications with AWS services.
  • Architect and implement robust, maintainable code following best practices.
  • Mentor and guide a team of talented developers.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into interactive applications.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cloud efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and AWS services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineer or in a similar senior role.
  • Extensive experience with React.js and its core principles.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Experience with popular React workflows (such as Redux).
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
  • Expertise in AWS services (such as S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  • Familiarity with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
  • Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
