About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our technology team in Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our online sports gambling platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and solution architects, to implement solutions and ensure technical debt is managed effectively.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure tests are aligned with the solution and complement tests written by development.
  • Collaborate with delivery managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Java developer with a strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience working in Scrum/Kanban frameworks and knowledge of AWS technologies is highly desirable.
  • Broad knowledge of web software development related topics, including best engineering practices (SOLID), and experience working in multi-team environments with multiple dependencies.
  • Familiarity with Docker, REST API, Linux, Bash, Python, Puppet, New Relic, and Terraform is an advantage.
