Finance & Office Manager
Location: Chepstow
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000
About the Role:
Autograph Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be working with an established construction business based near Chepstow. As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a Finance & Office Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining the financial accuracy of the business by processing transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
This is a great opportunity for a local candidate to become a key part of a family-feel business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll and CIS statements via Sage
- Raise sales invoices and statements
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Prepare tax returns and submit VAT
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support senior management with administration duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and reports
- Prepare month-end reports
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Sage or similar accounting software
