About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team in Doncaster. As a Senior Applied Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist care to clients with complex psychological or mental health conditions and/or complex trauma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to clients with complex needs.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide clinical supervision to qualified psychologists and offer training, formulation sharing, consultancy, and reflective practice to non-psychological colleagues.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with the Doncaster Care Group to develop and implement effective psychological interventions and contribute to the development of the psychology hub.
  • Research and Evaluation: Participate in research and service evaluations to inform the development of psychological services and contribute to the advancement of the field.

Requirements
  • Post-graduate training in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees/junior psychological professionals.
  • Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Assessed experience of working as a qualified applied psychologist with extensive experience at the Senior (minimum Band 8a) level.
