About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP YOI Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will work with a diverse range of complex presentations, trauma, and deprivation. This role is ideal for a newly qualified or experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations, including neurodiversity and complex trauma.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training and education.
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations.
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group interventions as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme.
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff as required.
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation, and research profile as appropriate.

Requirements
- Full HCPC registration.
- Proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychology.
- Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients.
- Experience working with psychological trauma.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player.
