We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our Integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP YOI Doncaster, a category B remand prison housing around 1145 patients aged 18-94 years of age.
About the Role
As a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, you will work with a diverse range of complex presentations, trauma, and deprivation. You will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation, and research profile as appropriate

Requirements
- Full HCPC registration
- Proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychology
- Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
- Experience working with psychological Trauma
- Excellent communication skills
