Paediatric and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Spinner Medical Recruitment. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement recovery-focused programs and services for children and adolescents with mental health issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, specialists, and community organizations, to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents.
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions, as well as provide education and training to healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement processes and maintain professional standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child and adolescent mental health services.
- FRANZCP or equivalent qualifications gained in either NZ, UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa.
- Expertise in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Experience in providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective, interpersonal, and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Knowledge and expertise in undertaking individual therapy and family systems interventions.
- Interests and involvement in quality improvement processes and in the maintenance of professional standards.
- Experience in education, training, and supervision of undergraduate medical and other related professionals.
