Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Spinner Medical Recruitment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team and working with children and families who are experiencing mental health issues.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Perth, Western Australia offers support, advice, and treatment to young people and their families. The service provides recovery-focused programs and services for children from birth up until a person turns 18 years old.
The successful candidate will be working in one of the following settings:
Acute CAMHS
Community CAMHS
Specialised CAMHS services.
The ideal candidate will have:
- FRANZCP or equivalent qualifications gained in either NZ, UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa.
- Expertise in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Experience in providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective, interpersonal and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Knowledge and expertise in undertaking individual therapy and family systems interventions.
- Interests and involvement in quality improvement processes and in the maintenance of professional standards.
- Experience in education, training, and supervision of undergraduate medical and other related professionals.
