Job Title: Behavioural Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large English-medium secondary school in Caerphilly. The successful candidate will work closely with the ALN coordinator and teaching staff to provide essential support for students with Behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with Autism, ADHD, and Behavioural difficulties
  • Provide 1-to-1 support for pupils who need assistance in Behavioural areas
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure students can access the curriculum according to their individual needs
  • Contribute to the social development and emotional well-being of students
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS check (child only) and registration with the EWC
  • Experience working with Behavioural needs
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE A* - C
  • Minimum of 2 references
  • Positive approach and passion for making an impact on children with Behavioural needs
