Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of safeguarding professionals in the substance misuse arena, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our service users.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to safeguarding across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in safeguarding, applying this knowledge to inform our services and policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience of leadership within safeguarding services, ideally within the substance misuse arena.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and service users.
- Passion for delivering high-quality services that prioritize the needs and well-being of our service users.
