Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our clients, supporting them with daily living activities, and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to clients with complex needs, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Support clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Promote clients' independence and autonomy, encouraging them to participate in activities and make informed decisions about their care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client care, including progress notes and medication administration records.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

Experience in care, although not essential, a caring and compassionate nature is a must.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures and protocols, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
