We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Strategy and Performance Manager to join our Business Strategy and Planning team at the Office for Environmental Protection.
Key Responsibilities- Lead our work to understand how we implement our strategy and plans, and what we're achieving, to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
- Develop and deliver our programme management approach, change controls, delivery monitoring, and reporting to ensure maximum value for money from resources.
- Design and deliver our performance framework and indicators to measure our impact and inform strategic decisions.
- Lead our small project management team to ensure good project management is embedded across all OEP work, delivering planned activities to time, budget, and scope.
- Support the Head of Business Strategy and Planning in developing and implementing the OEP's corporate strategy, including assessing and recommending solutions to key issues.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, performance management, and programme delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work in an agile and flexible way, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting organisational priorities.
