About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Geo-Environmental Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bromsgrove. As a Principal Geo-Environmental Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy services to a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of geo-environmental and geotechnical projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage a variety of project types, including ground investigations, contaminated land assessments, geotechnical design, remediation, and verification.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance their professional development.
  • Produce project proposals and tenders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain and implement health and safety standards across projects.
  • Prepare complex technical assessments, including Phase I/II geo-environmental assessments, risk assessments (ground gas, human health, and controlled waters), remediation strategies, and geotechnical assessments.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in geo-environmental and geotechnical engineering.
  • Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) in geology, environmental science, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate degree or chartered status (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale and complex projects.
  • Full UK driving license (manual transmission).
