Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Renal Outpatient Team as a Home Dialysis Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside experienced renal staff to provide safe and effective care for our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with peritoneal dialysis, including training and education on how to perform their own treatment
  • Provide phlebotomy services and support patients with haemodialysis training
  • Work independently as a lone worker, driving to patients' homes and back to base
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care and support for patients
Requirements
  • Significant experience of working in a care setting as a paid carer
  • Phlebotomy skills and experience
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including early and late shifts, 7 days a week
  • Current valid UK driving license
