Position Overview

The Associate will collaborate within a team of 4-6 finance professionals, contributing to the Acquisition Finance & Advisory division.

This division merges Corporate Acquisition Finance solutions with Rating & Capital Advisory services, providing comprehensive financial support.

The role will be under the supervision of the Team Head, who oversees operations in various regions.

The team primarily focuses on the U.K., Nordics, and the Middle East, ensuring effective distribution of tasks based on workload and the professional growth of team members.


Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Acquisition Finance
Marketing & Structuring
˗ Develop and produce Acquisition Finance & Advisory presentations for corporate clients in collaboration with other departments.
˗ Conduct financial modeling, including cash flow assessments and financial forecasts.
˗ Recommend financing structures, including tranching, pricing, and key covenants.
˗ Participate in client discussions alongside Senior Bankers and relevant colleagues.

Transaction Management & Execution
˗ Prepare business opportunity memorandums for management review.
˗ Create transaction requests, including risk and peer analysis, and manage the credit process.
˗ Develop syndication materials, such as information memorandums and bank presentations.
˗ Draft and review loan documentation, including term sheets and facility agreements.
˗ Adhere to established procedures and guidelines.

2. Rating & Capital Advisory
Occasionally assist Senior Advisors in originating and executing financial advisory projects.

This may involve:
˗ Analyzing business models, capital structures, and financial policies of companies.
˗ Benchmarking companies against their industry peers.
˗ Evaluating credit risk using methodologies from Rating Agencies.
˗ Developing financial models to assess the impact of changes in business scope and capital structure.
˗ Determining and optimizing debt capacity in line with rating objectives and proposing strategies to achieve financial goals.
˗ Pitching and executing Rating Advisory engagements to secure or enhance ratings, improving access to debt markets.
˗ Staffing may vary based on workload without specific sector specialization.
