The Financing Division encompasses several specialized areas, including:

  • Banking (covering loan and acquisition financing, leasing, and asset financing)
  • Debt Capital Markets (including eurobonds, convertible bonds, high yield bonds, and structured notes)
  • Derivatives
  • Securitisation & Structured Finance
  • Infrastructure, Energy, and Natural Resources (including project financing)

The majority of our work within the Financing Division has an international dimension.

Many of our clients operate globally, and our domestic clients often have significant international interests. English law frequently plays a central role in our cases, positioning us to effectively manage international advisors and coordinate all aspects of the matter.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE //

We seek a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our Financing Division, with a particular emphasis on Securitisation and Structured Finance. While a solid foundation in general financing is essential, the ideal candidate will focus on securitisations, asset-backed financing, and structured finance transactions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES //

The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing legal advice on securitisations, repackagings, and related financing arrangements across various asset classes for a diverse range of market participants.
  • Advising on a comprehensive array of derivative transactions and standard documentation.
  • Guiding financial institutions on the acquisition and financing of portfolios of financial assets.
  • Engaging in high-value and complex risk transfer transactions.
  • Participating in other financing arrangements as required by client needs.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and amending legal and commercial documentation related to financing transactions.
  • Building professional relationships with clients and participating in business development activities.
  • Overseeing the work of junior associates and trainees as necessary.

While we do not expect candidates to possess experience in all areas mentioned, a genuine interest in securitisations and structured finance, along with a willingness to develop expertise in these fields, is essential. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS //

Applicants for this position should possess:

  • A relevant level of post-qualification experience (typically between 2-4 years' PQE).
  • Experience working on high-value and complex transactions with significant responsibility.
  • A desire to cultivate expertise across various financing practice areas.
  • Strong drafting, advisory, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrable legal and commercial acumen.
  • A solid academic background with strong analytical capabilities.
