About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at My Care My Home. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to elderly and vulnerable adults within their own homes.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong desire to build lasting relationships with our service users and provide high-quality care that makes a real difference in their lives. You will work as part of our knowledgeable and passionate team, delivering care that is tailored to the individual needs of each service user.

We offer a range of hours to suit your lifestyle, including days, evenings, and weekends, with flexible contracts to suit your needs. You will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional branch support network and dedicated, professional colleagues who share your passion for care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prompting and supporting with personal care and dressing, including intimate personal care.
  • Supporting with light household duties, including laundry, shopping, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Assisting with medication, including collecting prescriptions, prompting, or administering medication.
  • Accompanying service users to medical appointments if needed.
  • Providing general companionship and social support.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.00, including weekends.
  • A weekend Shift Allowance of £10.00 per day.
  • Mileage allowance of 45p per mile, with the option to use a Fuel Card.
  • Travel time allowance of £11.44 per hour for continuous calls from one service user to another.

  • The option to be paid Weekly or Monthly.

Requirements:

We do not require any formal qualifications or previous experience in the care sector. Full training and support will be provided. An enhanced DBS check will be actioned as part of the pre-employment process.
