Job Title: Adults Learning Disability Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adults Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the individual, their family, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support individuals to access community resources, such as education, employment, and leisure activities.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
